About Four Mile:
Four Mile Historic Park is a gateway to Denver’s Western heritage, offering a vibrant 12-acre oasis with a working farm and Denver’s oldest standing structure, the Four Mile House Museum. The museum houses an extensive collection of mid to late-1800s Western artifacts, serving educational, historical, curatorial, and research purposes. Proudly acting as a custodian of cultural treasures, the museum evolves with contemporary approaches to artifact interaction, aspiring to be an immersive cultural attraction that goes beyond traditional museum settings. Job Description:
Join our team at Four Mile Historic Park! We are currently seeking a Program Specialist for part-time employment, offering up to 20-30 hours per week. Flexibility is key, as some night and weekend availability is required to make Park programming available during both public and private events.
The ideal candidate will embody qualities including self-motivation, friendliness, and a knack for creative problem-solving while delivering exceptional customer service. Collaborating with the Education Coordinator, the Program Specialist will be pivotal in facilitating educational programs for field trips, outreach initiatives, birthday celebrations, and private events. Additionally, they will contribute to enhancing the overall guest experience.
To be eligible for this exciting opportunity, candidates must be at least 21 years of age. This is a part-time, non-exempt position through October 31, 2024 with the potential to join the team full-time for the right candidate. This is not a remote position; in-person attendance is required.

SCHEDULE & COMPENSATION
Part-time hours are generally available between 8:00 am – 4:00 pm Monday through Friday, with weekend and evening work required as needed. A flexible schedule will be assigned based on the availability of the candidate and needs of the Park. The rate of pay is $20-$22 per hour.
