The women of XX Paranormal Communications are back for a night of paranormal investigating around Four Mile Historic Park. Explore the historic Four Mile House, built in 1859, and learn the secrets of those who resided within its walls. Walk the grounds of the Park under the veil of night and meet those who still linger. Enter the Bee House and speak with the spirits who remain. Using the professional paranormal tools and expertise of XX Paranormal Communications, you will have a night at the Park like no other.
Join us for a unique and immersive basket weaving workshop led by Salix, a Muscogee/Cherokee artist and instructor. The first 45 minutes will explore Indigenous history and the Cherokee tradition of basketry, followed by a hands-on lesson where you’ll learn how to start, shape, and finish your own basket using natural and dyed reeds. Be prepared to get your hands wet as you craft a meaningful piece to take home! Salix, a queer two-spirit artist and self-proclaimed “elder millennial,” brings rich cultural knowledge and a passion for mindful, community-centered art.
In the heart of the city, this rural oasis featuring both indoor and outdoor spaces, is perfect for your wedding, picnic, or special celebration.
