Education Programs

Four Mile’s on-site programs offer students the opportunity to immerse themselves in the rich history of Denver’s early days through hands-on learning. Students tailor their experience in the “Four Mile Sampler” by selecting from various activities, including butter-making and exploring Four Mile’s many outbuildings. In “Cherry Creek Traveler,” students explore preparations families made for the journey west, examining wagons and essentials for the trip. “Four Mile Farm Life” comprises five activities that guide students through a morning at a 19th-century farmhouse.

Events at Four Mile

Through events, interactive programming, and education, Four Mile connects guests to the region’s western heritage by sharing the stories and experiences of those who shaped Denver 166 years ago. Our signature events include Bright Nights, Egg Hunt, Pumpkin Harvest Festival, Spirits & Spirits, Brunch with Father Christmas, Night Brunch, and the Four Mile Rendezvous Gala.
